To see your fish tracks in 3D,Model 795 Acoustic Tags offer many advanced capabilities in the smallest acoustic tag commercially available. They are user programmable and work with HTI's Model 290/291 Acoustic Tag Tracking Systems, and together they offer an efficient means of remotely tracking fish in 3D with sub-meter resolution.
Example of 3D fish tracking in the Sacramento
River, California. The different colors in the fish
track indicate different depths.
Note: All tags operate at 307 kHz with an encoded signal. Length, diameter, and weight may vary +/- 10%. Life quoted is calculated based on operating parameters of 1 msec pulse width (PW) at 25°C and can be
extended by decreasing PW and or
PRI.
If your project is in a high-flow environment with flat surfaces for mounting hydrophones, we recommend HTI’s Low-Profile Hydrophone.
> Model 595 Low-profile Hydrophone
Similar to the Model 590-series Hydrophone, the low-profile hydrophone detects Model 795 Acoustic Tags. It was designed to easily mount onto flat structures. Its ping detection range is 170 degrees, as opposed to the 330 degree detection range of a pole-mounted Model 590-series Hydrophone. The low-profile hydrophone is ideal for flat structures in high-flow areas.
> Model 690-series Hydrophone Cables
Model 690-series Hydrophone Cables and Model 696 Armored Hydrophone Cables were designed to handle rugged aquatic environments. Compared to other cables, they allow significantly less noise from outside electrical sources. These cables are excellent for long term, deep water operations.
