What is AcousticTag Software Suite?

In the last 5 years, the AcousticTag Software Suite
has become the scientific standard in applications
for acoustic telemetry studies. For conducting fixed-location fish tracking (e.g., monitoring fish migration
or survival), this software package gives you all the
tools to conduct, analyze and present fisheries telemetry results.



What’s New in Version 5?

Each application has a whole host of new features being used in a variety of ways around the world.
For example, today in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, the Department of Water Resources scientists are using Version 5 to monitor juvenile salmonids as they migrate to the Pacific Ocean.
In Texas’ Trinity River, Version 5 was used by
National Geograhic Channel's Jakub Vagner to
detect alligator gar movement to improve vital
species research. On Washington’s Columbia
River, researchers with Chelan Public Utility
District use it to monitor fish survival and passage
in an ongoing effort to better protect fish passing hydropower dams.
